Interested teachers, administrators, and parents or guardians may provide feedback on the K–5 Literacy Textbook Adoption Materials that will be presented to the board for recommended approval on March 25.
The textbooks are aligned with the VLA and VLP and are one of the choices from VDOE's 2023 Approved Core Instructional Materials Guide. Sample materials will be available for preview and parent and teacher review from March 11th to 22nd from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Central Office (100 Mt. Clinton Pike).
On two evenings, March 12th and 21st, the Central Office will remain open until 7:00. There will be an online form to complete for comments and suggestions. There are also paper copies of the same form available.
