Psychology is a one semester elective course that helps students understand human behavior. Students will learn about the history of psychology, notable psychologists, and theories and important terminology used in the field of psychology. Units include the relationship between biology and psychology, sensation and perception, states of consciousness, and various psychological disorders. Emphasis is placed on research, projects, group collaboration, and discussion. Psychology is an elective course for students in grades 10-12.
