Filter
Securly logo

Securly's could-based web filter is designed to keep students safe on all RCPS-issued devices including Chromebooks, iPads, Macs, and Windows devices both at school and at home. The solution provides full visibility into online activity, generates or emails reports and provides notifications for flagged content.

Each year we upload parent and guardian email information from PowerSchool and upload it to Securly to generate weekly Internet history emails. Parents and guardians may opt out of these weekly emails at any time. If you are a parent or guardian and are not getting these alerts, please make sure your child's school has the correct email contact information for you in PowerSchool.

Home

Home allows parents to monitor RCPS-issued devices both at school and when it goes home. Using the free Home app, parents can see their child’s online activity in real-time, further limit filtering categories or block particular websites outside of school, and temporarily pause the Internet outside of school.

A new Home feature allows parents to create offline schedules that automatically pause the Internet during certain times like dinner or bedtime.

Download the free Securly Home app on the Apple App Store or get it on Google Play.

Auditor

Auditor uses an Artificial Intelligence engine to scan student Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Drive for signs of cyberbullying, suicide, or violence in real-time. Middle and High School administrators receive alerts based on context, not just keywords.

24

Securly's team of highly-trained specialists use an Artificial Intelligence engine to analyze flagged activity notifications 24/7. A thorough risk assessment of the student is performed, identifying concerning trends and patterns. When an alert is determined to be urgent, the 24 Team follows an escalation process to notify school administrators.
